加拿大西洋参胶囊
Panax quinquefolius
Canadian Ginseng (Panax quinquefolius) is indigenous to North America. It grows
primarily in the Eastern United States and Canada in sub-canopy deciduous forest
since 1716. It has a long history of use by both Native American people
and in China where it has been exported for over a 100 years. Today, it is a
very common herb sold around the world and its popularity is growing.
The main active ingredients of Ginseng (Canadian and Chinese) are the more than
20 saponin triterpenoid glycosides, called 'ginsenosides'. The Canadian Ginseng
is rich in the Rb1 group of ginsenosides, which have a more sedative and
metabolic effect on the central nervous system ('yin
energy). Chinese Ginseng is higher in the Rg1 group of ginsenosides, which are
more arousing and stimulating ('yang energy). Normalizing system levels of the
body, Canadian Ginseng has been used to lower cholesterol, increase energy
levels, balance the metabolism, and stimulate the immune system. Canadian
Ginseng may also be used to alleviate fatigue, relieve nervousness and reduce
stress, especially after acute illnesses. Canadian Ginseng increases oxygenation
to the cells and tissues, stimulating the regeneration of damaged cells. For
this reason, Canadian Ginseng is commonly used to enhance the feeling of overall
well being, stimulating the nervous system, brain and heart. The cooling and
anti-inflammatory properties found in Canadian Ginseng may also be used to help
reduce fevers and relieve respiratory problems, including dry coughing and
wheezing.
